How’s it going? I know the world keeps growing more heartbreaking and strange, and yet I sincerely hope your world has grown deeper in meaning and wider in perspective. I know mine certainly has, despite the garden never quite sprouting what I thought I planted. ;)
A quick update on my world: Three months ago I sold my house in Texas, minimized my collection of “stuff” and moved into an off-grid home in a small town in northern New Mexico. The house keeps warm by fire, and I have met the type of silence that turns stillness into a symphony. The third entity that exists between me and this land has swallowed my self-identity whole. Much could be said, but in short: I am overflowing with joy and gratitude that this totally strange whim has been one of the most grand blessings of my life.
Each day I settle into feeling more and more like I’ve found my place in this big wide world, which is like some holy rest washing over my existence. I left behind searching and I can’t recall longing. Suddenly there is nothing to figure out and there is no one to become. Much of my insecurities have been burned down and replaced by the fire. Here I have remembered that I, too, am a mountain.
Here on this land I have also remembered that I, too, am an activist. I don’t have to tolerate what does not honor life and I don’t have to protect what’s poisonous. Just as I am the mountain, I am also the wind, the fire and the water. This is in fact what it means to be made in the image of God — to be a change maker in the material, in the ecological and in the spiritual. This is the gift of being alive! Let us not forget that gods can move mountains.
Going forward, you will see a newer commitment to activism reflected in my work. In many ways, none of this is new, it’s just no longer enshrouded by my various longings and doubts. Deservingness is a man-made illusion based on a false system of hierarchy, which makes me realize that the only thing actually worth shooting for is total liberation from anything that makes us believe otherwise. Let us seed the revolution!
FAITH FORWARD
Faith is a prerequisite for revolution.
We cannot create a new world without unwavering conviction. We will not have the endurance required for composting and cultivating systemic change if we are not fueled by higher belief. A revolution without faith is one without reverence for life and its innate & relentless hopefulness for a better tomorrow.
We must lead with our faith forward.
This Friday and Saturday afternoon I’m hosting a virtual workshop on the topic of faith as a prerequisite to inner and outer revolution. We will explore how to cultivate higher belief, design leaps of faith (like making a big career change) and root into revolutionary forms of wealth
Come to open your heart more to life, truth, justice and creative action. Come to trap patterns and transform your fears into faith. Come to discover a hopefulness and drive to carry you through the ups and downs of your commitments. We really can create a more fulfilling life and a more free existence for ourselves and others.

INNER UPRISING
This weekend’s workshop is actually the first module of a 6 week program I’ll be offering in late February called Inner Uprising. If you want to be reminded of this program when I launch it, please respond to this email with “inner uprising”.
This program for you if you’re interested in:
Holistic activism
Career composting & navigating career changes
Rooting into revolutionary forms of wealth
Learning more about the fear matrix that clouds your vision
Building ethically aligned community
Exploring alternative, post-capitalistic forms of exchange
Reconnecting to your willpower and life force as a revolutionary and heart-led warrior
Stepping into a higher integrity relationship with the flow of money and resources.
COACHING
I can’t believe I’ve been doing career coaching for 2 years now (5 if you include the 3 years I coached 15 people in their career journey while in-house as a design leader). I suspect I’ll be slowing down on 1:1 work in the coming months, so if you’re interested in getting support with all this privately, please schedule a free intro call. Many of my clients end up quitting unsatisfying jobs or unfulfilling careers, find the courage to commit to their soul-fed creations, and discover much about themselves and their fear programs along the way.
Feel free to respond to this email with any questions or feedback. Wishing for you so much clarity of vision and lingering joy.
